In the Summer of 1979, I spent four weeks alone traveling and photographing in the river valley of southern France. This resulted in the exhibit, Douce France, presented by Alliance Francais in 1980 in New York City. The exhibit travelled to several cities in the U.S. as well as to Montreal and Paris.
